Today in 1722, Founding Father and founding member of the Sons of Liberty, Samuel Adams was born. While John Adams was the galvanizing force in the Continental Congress that signed the Declaration of Independence and focused the colonies on combating the British for freedom, Adams thought no one other than his cousin Sam had a better understanding of liberty and what ends were needed to achieve liberty.
Adams I believe has the most thourough Understanding of Liberty, and her Resources, in the Temper and Character of the People, tho not in the Law and Constitution, as well as the most habitual, radical Love of it, of any of them—as well as the most correct, genteel and artful Pen.
John Adam on Samuel Adams
Sam believed that resistance to tyranny in all forms was every free person’s duty.
The liberties of the American people are at stake; let us resist every enemy to them with a firmness proportionate to their malignity.
Samuel Adams
I Believe that no people ever yet groaned under the heavy yoke of slavery, but when they deserv’d it. This may be called a severe censure upon by far the greatest part of the nations in the world who are involv’d in the misery of servitude:

This Week On Cultural Courage
As events unfold for the upcoming election and many question the direction of our country, the parting words of George Washington become all the more poignant. Washington warned us of favoring one nation over another via treaties and alliances, and his policies that guided our fledgling American nation sought to keep debt as low as possible as we paid our financiers as soon as possible. To Washington, debt was a matter of security, as it would not only drain resources that would inevitably be needed in times of crisis, it also tied the hands of our future generations by making choices for them. This robbed them of their liberty.
A phrase often associated with Washington’s views on America's place in the international order was “no foreign entanglements”. Being embroiled in conflict often arose from treaties. How can a nation remain independent when it must fulfill a treaty with a partner nation who unscrupulously engages in dangerous behavior? Can we say we are free as a people when we are limited by international treaties?
We currently have treaties under consideration today that will tie our hands with how we respond to health crises and with how we develop our energy policy, as well as limit how we feed ourselves. This I believe is also a form of the entanglements that Washington warns us of.
Much wisdom can be found from the man who charted the course for our country under a newly drafted Constitution, and perhaps he was the only one with enough humility and leadership skills to establish the implementation of that framework. Founders History takes a look at Washington’s cabinet and his parting thoughts.
This Week On OZFest Morning Mission
This past week OZFest Morning Mission returned it’s focus to Artificial Intelligence and in particular, a study which concludes that many can be re-educated through the interactive use of AI. 2190 people who held conspiracy theories as truth were asked to interact with ChatGPT, and supposedly their belief in those “incorrect” ideas was reduced by 20% up to as long as 2 months.
Funded by MIT Generative AI Initiative (D.G.R.) and John Templeton Foundation Grant 61779 (G.P.)., the study “Durably reducing conspiracy beliefs through dialogues with AI” concludes:
More specifically, AI models are powerful, flexible tools for reducing epistemically suspect beliefs and have the potential to be deployed to provide accurate information at scale. For example, internet search terms related to conspiracies could be met with AI-generated summaries of accurate information—tailored to the precise search—that solicit the user’s response and engagement. Similarly, AI-powered social media accounts could reply to users who share inaccurate conspiracy-related content (providing corrective information for the potential benefit of both the poster and observers). Consistent with the potential for uptake of AI dialogues, some conspiracy-believing respondents in our sample expressed excitement and appreciation in their conversations with the AI.
Given all the emotional tracking elements that our schools have been proposing, it is worth considering if this type of tool might be proposed. Link to the episode is below.
Several people had questions for me this week regarding the UN Pact for the Future, Global Digital Compact, and Declaration on Future Generations, as it eerily rhymes with the World Economic Plans and the theme of Controlled Environment we discussed in Severed Conscience. Next week’s Morning Mission will feature an analysis of the document and will be titled Your Digital Corporation Will Be Required.

Coming Up On Sunday Nights Radio
Earlier this week I was taken by some of the wonderful watercolor painting by
, and they triggered a memory for me, taking me way back to when I was almost 5 and my folks had taken me back to their homes in the Catskills. While I have something I am publishing this Monday that captures those memories, I had other conversations with my folks about that summer in Roxbury New York where my mother grew up. That will be our topic for this upcoming Sunday Nights Radio. So please join the Sunday Nights Radio Live Stream at 930 PM Eastern for Driftwood and Burgess.

Friday Severed Conscience Podcast Release
Eminent Domain and seizing farm land is not a sexy topic, and it’s not something you will see get a lot of attention on social media. And that is why we have adoption of Agenda 2030 happening at such a surprisingly rapid rate. But as we examines how the promise of renewable energy is a carrot to allow farm land to be seized for Big Tech. AI requires far more energy and water than traditional cloud computing services. This means that the government acts as the agent who determines if a generational farm can continue to operate, or if it must be cleared for renewable energy projects. Maryland is currently allowing corporations to invoke eminent domain for energy projects that will feed Big Tech’s data centers. Is the destruction of farms in favor of power transmission lines the true spirit of saving our eco-systems?
