The Institute of Society
“Health Progress” was meant to create a response by showcasing a Progressive movement of Health Care and how those goals should be pursued to shape a healthier America, but has it?

Daniel Callahan, the Father of Bioethics. The Founder of the “Institute of Society” which would later become The Hastings Center. Danny Boy, as I call him, created a variety of different opinions when it came to how America was very individualized in Medicine but to him it was an obstacle because it overlooked the Common Good of Society as a whole. This is where Rationing seemed like a solid solution of necessity and when it came to a series of suggested factors which has now been paved into a daily routine of word vomit like “affordability” and “sustainability”, this was the beginning of a New Norm or “routine”. But in order to better understand this, it had to be applied in real time and that is why Danny Boy was a top tier motivator/ influencer because his past publications from the mid to late eighties and his concept of applied ethics became the perfect cocktail that would initially help to formulate what the idea of a health care community could look like and how it would be enacted through the necessity of population health instead of individual care.
