That was the most amazingly detailed story of a wipe-out I've ever read, and I can relate having been there more times than I care to admit. Funny how time slows down to the speed of cold molasses during a harrowing experience. I'm glad you are okay, but I'm curious, do the slopes now require one to wear a helmet? That would be a freaking deal-breaker for me, I'll die like a man, thank you.

Thank you I’m glad you enjoyed this. As you can imagine that sequence pretty engrained. It’s funny how your mind tries frantically to get intel. I couldn’t see where I was going and had to rely on hearing - the rushing got louder as I picked up speed and I was asking myself “Shouldn’t I be stopping soon?” Once I hit the bramble I really didn’t consider if I was going to hit a tree, I don’t know why. It’s lined with tree at the top. I guess I was so focused on the sound. Thinking about it now there could have been a stump that would have really wrecked me.

At Belleayre NY they are required, but at Caber Fae in MIchigan they are recommended, so it depends on the ski center.

Definitely a Capricorn Highlander, the competitive stubbornness of the internal battle to not accept defeat. Snow from Mid West to east is icy, or that was my experience, the further west, the higher the mountain, the more powder and some of the best runs ever. Of course I avoided black diamond moguls …. Now.. as we say in Detroit, foggetaboutit. Have you ever heard the Energy guys or gangsters or something. Just did after your show, they agree ( and they are liberals or at least the interviewer was) that solar is just one big failure waiting to happen.

To steal a line from Highlander "Aye". I'm stubborn :) My mother at 83, she's just as stubborn, was yelling at me that I never listened a few weeks ago.

Re the Energy guys do you mean the Energy Bad Boys? I think Jason sent me something from them once, they were a good source for why NOT to fall for the solar.

That is what I saw and they said if it’s about really being green, clean, efficient and cost saving, we have the infrastructures for nuclear Second was fossil fuel, especially for high peak times.. solar was something that should not even be on the list… they are not from MI, why not hear them out. They are engineer’s I mean energy engineers
