Exactly this! I feel this in my bones passed down from generations of Americans in my heritage that is mine to protect.

Thank you for reading. It’s a tough mirror to gaze into, but it’s vital for us to do so. On holidays we do want joy but this year has showed us that we can’t merely return to pre Covid or even the 80s. We have drifted away from the goals for generations. And in our drift people are stepping forward with false alternatives.

Regarding that picture of a wall in need of patching; behind it is water damage. It was leaking, or perhaps still is, but this will only worsen if the leak is not addressed. No amount of patching will stop it from recurring.

Thanks for pointing that out - I have to check the to see if the window is leaking. We had water damage 15 years ago and we had insurance cover that damage. The crack must appeared after we installed that window a few years after that. I suspect the leak is from window - we have our couch in front of the window so I don't know when the leak occurred.

So I am must learning how use this platform. This article is by The Mighty Humanzee, I was trying to write something in response as his articles seem to bring the lost writer out in me. My comments seem to be so long the platform will not allow me to finish them, so I am trying to write something that so many great writers on here seem to prompt me to respond. Thanks for everyone’s patience. I will get the hang of it and maybe even learn how to include memes too 🤔

My mother was amazing. She would install dishwashers, constantly fix the pool filter… it looked like R2 D2, my brother had allergies…poor guy, so the outside work and the inside work fell to my sister and I while the eldest and the youngest….well….I couldn’t use tools, but I could cook. My sis and I would trade daily who would clean the upstairs and downstairs and I would cook dinner when she and mom were head to toe grease and pond scum when the filter broke. We lived in the country too, sump pump and well so that was always an issue for a family of 6….. we got a picnic table kit, we were putting it together when my dad came home, my mom begging him to go back out,, he took a hammer from me and he split with wood right down the middle… walked away swearing, why did you by that piece of shit Jeri.. next day a beautiful picnic table was delivered…. Not the point.. mom always the Scot, would save money bc he always did stuff like that. It was always entertaining at my house…..

My mom was like that. My dad was so impatient. He was good at business but terrible with projects. So I picked up lot just doing things he didn’t have time for.

I think with comments to articles you can’t include photos, so a Note is where the flexibility lies.

Still, I think you have some articles lurking beneath the surface, you should give it a shot.

I just finished doing a lot of research on the Johnson Act and Trumps role in it. I think I get it now. The IRS website is not up to date yet but there is so much info on it. When I saw that MSNBC said Trump WRONGLY allows Churches to back candidates, I knew there had to be a method to his madness and I was right.

CAT asked me to come on her MT Spaces Monday evening to talk about why Trump did this with the 1954 Johnson Act. Yes it gives all Religions with 501 (c)(3) status to back a candidate, it also opens the door for audits by the IRS for violations, dark money and to see if donor monies increase. He made an EO in 2017 but never got the chance to have it officially repealed. So it went back to the original Johnson Act when Biden took office.

Am happy to email you all of the info if you want to write something about it

Also, Bill Gates getting UDSA approval to spray our organic foods with a substance called Apeel??? What is up with this? Why is Bill Gates obsessed with our food supply? He also has permission to vaccinate all livestock that has been cross contaminated with mutated H1N5, which now includes Miss Piggy. So Beef, Chicken Pork; have heard anything about Lamb…. Fish already is toxic from contamination of heavy metals and discarded medications, especially cold water fish like Salmon. Now he get gets USDA APPROVAL for all of our organic fruits and veggies?

I feel like we are going through worm holes with everything going on. I need to get away, somewhere with cabins, forests and mountains and horses. No phones or internet

Just got home. Having my garage door painted finally tomorrow and hoping the painter will want to take on some jobs on the side. Of course if I had your skill, I would not need it. I take after my dad…. My poor mom would physically cover a project with her body pleading “ No Johnny no”. Please do not touch it.. next thing you see is a 4 ft pipe wrench coming from the garage, my father in a custom tailored suit ( yes sorta wise guyish). A couple of bangs, pipes broken, water shooting everywhere and his famous comment, that thing was no damn good, we needed a new one anyway. 🤯😂🤔. Imagine a 100% Scottish mom, who would hide money bc it was always feast or famine in my house and my Hollywood looking father who somehow got 3 bronze stars Purple Hearts and other accolades for saving British RAF, American bomber pilots …. but… (oh, that was the pool filter) my mom true to the Scottish reputation was pretty frugal. We laugh till we cry now telling the stories

We do need to mend and repair, but we are not broken. We choose to preserve. This is a rational response, not a mere reaction. If practiced enough that response becomes instinctive, but it is something we have forged for ourselves, …..

We do need to assert, we need to insist, to remind without fear and intimidation that we are not happy with our representation; we have become so fractionalized within our own party out of this desperate need to be heard, to be validated, to be vindicated.

What will allow us to feel that we are finally being represented? That we are finally on path that leads to healing and allows us to get back to who we now KNOW we need to be, seeing how easily we can lose it it we blindly trust, hide, deny. It is our job our duty our responsibility to keep those we voted to represent us in check.

We do need to recognize and not just hope that things will not change without our voices relentlessly reminding those who have the HONOR of representing us, to do just that; Represent US, not their own interests.

What systems do we really have in place to protect We the People? Article V? A pipe dream at best and if it were to materialize, we all better understand it as well as we understand the rights of free speech. To put forward a COS is the most unified way to assert our rights as We the People, but again we are putting one of the most fundamental principles into the hands of a few to make new amendments to our constitution through the vote of the people. I would encourage all people to truly understand all complex components of Article V.

Yet we are at a historic precedent that we have not seen since the drafting of our our Constitution. People are not happy, they are frustrated. They have not been represented, they have been betrayed. The answer, the Win we thought we had has been obstructed, sued, impeached, the law fare increased and we watch as the Party, the America First, MAGA, Republicans just sit back and watch. We seduced ourselves into believing there was a plan, there had to be. We celebrate a little win as if we all just won a multimillion million dollar lottery.

The truth is, the left continues, in their desperation to throw slings and arrows that generally hit the intended target. Then we become enraged, we get a small victory, we calm down believing surely now it will all happen, Our Mandate will be fulfilled without obstruction, without interference, but even when the Supreme Court does rule in our favor, a lesser Court still has the audacity to emotionally issue another injunction just to waste time so we cannot focus on the real issues.

What are those? Elections. If our election system was trustworthy, if it were, just based on the evidence we have now, issued a Stay, an injunction and a Federal Subpoena to every clerk and SOS in the county to submit all data now. Not 10 days, that is what the injunctive order to Stay is for, a task force assigned to do nothing but investigate each state, I am convinced we would find proof beyond ANY doubt that elections in several states show a margin of error beyond what would be statistical human error.

We do ne to mend, to preserve, to unify, to understand that have on many levels disrupted the Democratic Party, their riots, demonstrations, collective video clips filled with falsehood, hate and fear is evident.

However what is also evident is either we have been lied to by our own party, or misled…OR… it is all so real, there is not enough staff to deal with everything. So if can assert this, continue deporting, fund ICE by all means; but realistically we will not be able to deport enough or get voter rolls cleaned in time for the Midterms unless our mutual focus is Federal Injunctions, Investigations and warrants to seize all election data national wide.

I believe if those two mandates were focused on and met, the people could and would feel heard, validated and we can begin to do what we should be doing. Finding candidates to fill vacancies, to run against incumbents, to Primary RINO’s and actually feel we have real input, a real say and influence over the system we elect and that is supposed to be accountable to We the People.
