Celebrating Thanksgiving
As we put the Election in the rear view mirror, I want to hear from all of you regarding your Thanksgiving traditions. Drop a comment on the is article or DM me, I’d like to get a page up of the special things we all do for Turkey day. So be it a traditional, a story, or recipes, I’d like to collect those and share. They can even be a video, I have a few I’ll be posting. This is a holiday month, we can’t let that pass without partying and spending time being thankful for the blessings we have.
So hit me up.
This Week Cultural Courage was Needed on OZFest Podcast
I am going to be very honest. I am glad the Election is over. The work has just begun and as my father said to me earlier today, people have clearly made a choice for a very different direction. Our institutions need to be rebuilt, as many have been politicized, and our election procedures in each state need to be thoroughly examined. I say that because the candidate I favored, Trump, won. And with the stories of scanning machines not operating, polls being closed, ballots appearing in late hours, Trump won. But we shouldn’t settle for that type of lack of performance on the most important day for our republic, regardless who wins or loses.
Only the vote counters win if election laws are ignored or procedures put in place leading to fraudulent votes canceling out the vote cast by those who registered and voted as part of their patriot duty. The vote counters will remain in power if we don’t enforce integrity, and chain of custody audits are the way to enforce that. I tend to not write about the current political events for the newsletter, but as I was shocked by the outcome and happy that we would perhaps have a chance to have a once in the decisions that are made for us regarding energy and the economy, I urge everyone to not ignore the many problems we have with our elections. Our true freedom lies there, and not wrapped up in the cult of personality.
The Election also takes the oxygen out of the room. I started this quest to communicate with people regarding liberty, our republic in order to help preserve what I see as a healthy society for my kids who are adults and hopefully my grandkids if I am so blessed. We have passed a milestone, and I have invested considerable time in many podcasts, articles and hours of speaking on our Open Mic sessions on Twitter Spaces about election integrity and the technology we use in our state. In Michigan we just started another chapter in that book. I tried to crystalize those concerns in the article this week called
With the election done, I have a few projects that I have been trying to bring to you here. On the podcast last week I promised an article on the National Security Memorandum on Artificial Intelligence and what those impacts could be for our society. Many of the topics that l latch onto are the slower burning topics, things that march along regardless of who is in power. Land grab, access to energy, AI and social media impact on mental health and agriculture rights for local farmers and homesteaders are not the sexy Twitter burning trend of the moment, but they are critical to our independence. In fact, they are of primary importance if you want to sustain a life where you are not tied to a Capital that resembles some Hollywood movie set from the Hunger Games. The NSM is a shift in thinking about how Artificial Intelligence and the underlying supply chain critical to supporting AI will prioritize land ownership, water management, grazing rights and other facets of food production in profound ways. That article is coming very soon. And it kicks off another series of topics for a special project.
That said, Veterans Day is this Monday, and one of the delights of Cultural Courage, at least for me, is the column No Safety Net, No Internet, and I have a very special outdoor scouting adventure tied to Veteran’s Day that I want to deliver to you. And yes, there is a component of November camping involved as well.
Meeting Some Interesting People
This may sound crazy with all that is going on, but I’ve been bitten by the creative bug inspired by Demi Pietchell of
. If you are looking for interesting writers then the What I’m Reading is a good resource.Demi also has a monthly writing contest with an interesting twist. I missed last months and have this idea for years that I’m going to try my hand with Sentences I Never Thought I Would Say Or Hear. October’s list was killer, and after resurrecting my Prague horror fiction, I’ve got the itch to just do something different. The Founding Fathers won’t mind, and I hope you’ll enjoy what I cook. And do, by all means, check The Starfire Codes - there are great memes, FUNNY memes. We need that. A lot.
Latest Severed Conscience Podcast
Fridays are podcast day. The Severed Conscience podcast has had an AI focus lately, and that is dovetailing with my efforts regarding researching the National Security Memorandum I discussed earlier. In this week’s episode, we cover how the more than half of the AI medical application have NOT been tested with clinical data. This should really give you pause. Our institutions demand our attention and our unquestioning compliance, and AI is being introduced as having that same authority of expertise.

Coming Up On Sunday Nights Radio
This next episode of Sunday Nights Radio is titled “Novem”. I am saving Thanksgiving topics for later this month, so I’ve spent some time learning some folklore centered around this month. Plus other interesting topics that are related to this month of November, especially music. We’ll be learning about some great rock albums released in November, so I think this SNR will be a cool change of pace.

Two cups or so of frozen cubed mango placed inside a turkey cavity then baked breast-side down, moistens the meat and gives it a delectable flavor. I also add a few cubes in the Dutch oven and the juice combines with the basting to make an even more sweet and sapid bird.
I would love for you to submit a story to Demi’s sentence prompts. I wish I had the time for it! Thank you for sharing! 💖✨
