Two cups or so of frozen cubed mango placed inside a turkey cavity then baked breast-side down, moistens the meat and gives it a delectable flavor. I also add a few cubes in the Dutch oven and the juice combines with the basting to make an even more sweet and sapid bird.

That sounds AMAZING!

I smoke turkeys for Thanksgiving and last year did a bourbon brine with maple syrup. In the past I’ve done cherry wine and oranges in the brine too.

That mango sounds really good!
