We Use Celebrate Repair and Renewal - It Was Part of Our Culture

Innovation and ingenuity are skills that come with practice. We used to expect that of ourselves, and there was no shame in seeking out a way to renovate. We use to repair things, we used to fix old our homes. Today we just want to tear out and discard. Our Republic was something we nurtured, repaired and honored. There is a call that the Old Republic isn’t working, something new is required. What they offer is not what we started with, nor we need.

We called upon to remember a limited form a patriotism, and that is for collective works. Unlike other societies, we cultivated principles that we considered healthy to out liberty, and did not call out for enemies of the Republic to be executed, as France did during Robespierre’s Reign of Terror. It distinguished us in ways that we do not acknowledge today.
